What a journey we have been on the past few weeks on discovering our worth in Christ. Last week we talked about transforming our minds from our old pattern of living and choosing to walk in freedom. Our past may explain our behavior but it cannot be an excuse. Our behavior will not change until our thoughts changs. We have to renew our minds daily....sometimes hourly.Romans 12:2 - "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what the will of the Lord is."
Tonight we will see again from Psalm 139 and the woman at the well in John 4 that God loves us and He is for us.
If we truly believed that God loves us and He is for us.....there would be no question of our worth.
Jesus didn't ask the woman at the well in John 4 for a drink because He was thirsty. Thirst was the excuse Jesus used to have a conversation with her. He went out of His way and waited at the well for her.....not because He was thirsty but because He knew she needed the life-giving water that only He could give.
If you are in the Ocala, Florida area, and you are "thirsty".....come and see like the woman at the well a man who told me everything about me.......He knows me, every detail about me....and He has gone out of His way to quench my thirst!
