My Baby is Graduating....

Jeremiah 29:11-13 - "I know what I am doing. I have it all planned out - plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. When you call on Me, when you come and pray to Me, I'll listen. When you come looking for me, you'll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding Me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." (MSG)

This is Emily's first day of Pre-K. Time has gone by too fast. She is so cute:)
I remember this day like it was yesterday. She looked so little as she went off to school and I think I cried most of the day. *(This was only Pre-K for 3 days a week) We then chose to Home-school the girls and I had the privilege of homeschooling Emily from Kindergarten to 8th grade. She finished out her 8th grade year and the 9th grade in a private school and then she went to public school from 10th grade until now....her Senior year. Each choice in her education journey has shaped her into the young lady she is today. The Lord has ordered her steps and our steps as her parents in each decision that was made. He has an incerdible plan for her life and I thank Him everyday for allowing us to be her parents.
This was the first day of school for Emily's Senior year and Katie's Sophomore year. Everyone told me that this school year would fly by.....they were right. It has flown by! I am amazed that here we are getting ready to graduate our first daughter. I do not feel old enough to have a graduate:) This has been a great year. As I look back over all of the photos of the memories that have been made we have been so blessed. The Lord has been so good to our family. Thank you, Emily, for letting us be apart of this exciting part of your journey.

Here we are Emily's last day of High School. She will graduate on June 6th. I am so proud of her!
